48 Days

Crib is ready w/mobile and all!

View of the nice new recliner - where we will be spending A LOT of sleepless nights!
Well, I am inspired by my friends who have managed to pull together a nice blog as they near the arrival of their little ones.  What a great way to share with friends and family the latest and greatest events in our life as they unfold...

We are officially 48 days out from the expected due date of Baby M.  I am now heading to the doctor every 2 weeks for check-ups and learning what it feels like to have a foot or hand up in my ribs from the inside!  As of last week, Baby M is measuring a little big, so I will have an ultrasound in 2 weeks to check on the position and also on the size of this little one!  Hopefully, he/she will be average:)

We are putting the finishing touches on the baby's room this week...just added some beautiful crown moulding and still need to hang the curtains and put up a new light fixture.  The laundry is mostly done and the room is becoming cozier by the minute!  We are anxious to find out if we will be adding more blue or purple to accent the room!

Christmas is just 4 days away and I am sad that I will not be able to celebrate the holidays with my mom & dad, Karen, Stephen & Marianne this year, but we will definitely make up for it next year with our addition!  Speaking of additions - my sister, Marianne became engaged to Roger Krzeminski (Polish men are fantastic!) over the weekend!!!  Marianne surely waited for Mr. Right and he is such a lucky man!  So with that, 2011 will add 2 new family members to the McClure's - what a great year it will be!

I will do my best to keep this blog up to date each week...I plan to post pictures of Baby M once he/she arrives and keep you all posted on this new and exciting chapter that Paul & I are starting...

Until next week, have a very blessed & Merry Christmas.  Hug your family and friends extra tight and enjoy the special time you have with them!  Spending time with the ones you love is surely the best present Santa can bring!

Ho ho ho!
Jen

  2. love the room so far jen! and yay for blogs :) i can't wait to hear baby news! this last part will hopefully fly by with the holidays... and who knows, maybe baby M will take after grayson and come early!?!? :)

BTW grayson loved and still loves his mobile! it's been a lifesaver at times (like if i have to pee, haha! but totally serious!), i say to him "do you want to see your friends?" and he laughs now at them... so cute. hope your little one enjoys it as much!

hugs to you, and merry christmas :)
